Lib Dem PPC and postal vote obsessive (no, really, he is) John Hemming has used some surplus cash to try and get the General Election postponed.

The Fiend has more on it, including a swipe at Blunkett's frankly bizarre reckoning.

It is an interesting spin to "delay election", the true objective is changing secondary legislation.
