Manifesto Madness

At a Tory fund raiser for Danny Kruger on Tuesday, the Tories' kamikaze candidate in Sedgefield, Boris Johnson auctioned a battered copy of the Tories' 1979 election manifesto signed by Margaret Thatcher to raise funds. An investment banker from UBS paid £5,000 for it. Apparently she wants to compare it to the far more right-wing manifesto of 2005 - New Labour's Blairite manifesto...
